HTML tables are not dead — they just hide

Native <table> markup is less common on modern sites, but finance and admin UIs still rely on it — often with rowspan/colspan.

DIV/flex “pseudo tables” need selection by repeated card structure, not table tags. Test both before you assume your tool works.
